I’m back posting again, after a long absence, with a fresh resolve to blog regularly and share my creative endeavors!
The biggest news, since my last post, was the debut of my newly published book in December - click HERE to check it out!

But this post is about my latest endeavor. I realized that I don’t sketch “just-because” as often as I should, so I got myself the most wonderful little pocket watercolor sketchbook. It’s small and portable, so it has a better chance of coming with me and being used. So far I’m off to a good start, trying to capture scenes from the places I visit, and using my travel watercolor set (thanks Laura!).
I’ll post more in the coming days.
Right now I’m teaching for 3 weeks up in the Sequoia National Forest and it’s absolutely beautiful! I have a new painting on fabric that I’m working on while I’m up here, so I’ll try to post some pictures of the process.
