Very successful first night of the art exhibit in Bahrain - painting alongside about 30 artists from the Al Hussaini Society for Islamic Arts, on the theme of Jesus. I was honored to be able to join with these amazing Bahraini artists, and I’ll post more pictures soon. We’ll be back again tomorrow from 4-9pm for the last night of the event. Tonight I finished sealing the fabric onto the canvas and I’ll spend the rest of the time tomorrow painting the images on top of the fabric and collage.
I met so many wonderful people tonight and I’m looking forward to interacting with them again!
On a fun note - I felt right at home there inside the Jawad Dome where we’re painting, because they have very tall palm trees, especially imported from California!
