Here’s the finished painting that I completed back in June. In contrast to bare, vulnerable houses without any trees, the place that this painting will call home is surrounded by towering oak trees which create such a sense of protection and refuge. It is a place where people who are living and working in the developing world and meeting the needs of others can come and find healing and restoration for themselves. Check back in as I’m planning to focus future posts here on the process happening in the shade of those trees and to share some of my thoughts on the different images.
