I brought thread with me and started in on Africa and over to the Arabian Penninsula, and up around Asia and Europe. So Oman was sewn with American thread. But then I ran out of thread, so my friends in Oman took me to their sewing supply shop to get more. Actually, since she’s been a regular customer for 10 years, they wouldn’t let me pay for the thread. So then I proceeded to sew America with Omani thread. I thought that was pretty neat.
